Who are you?

We are Upfront. We specialise in PCO-ready cars for Uber drivers. We believe that everyone should be treated fairly. What you see is what you get, making it simple for you to keep earning more .

What is the minimum contract period?

After the first 2 months you can give four weeks’ notice to return your vehicle at any time. Our full contract period is 5 years.

How do I get to own the car?

With our flexible deals, you will have an option to purchase your PCO car after 3 years. There is a further option to purchase after 5 years. There is no obligation to purchase – you can return the car at any time.

How long does it take to get on the road?

A car will typically be available for collection within 24hrs of approval.

Is there a minimum age?

The minimum age for applicants is 25 years.

Is there a credit check? What if I have a poor credit score?

This is rarely a problem – just give us a call on 0203 475 7767 and we will talk you through the process.

What about insurance?

Comprehensive insurance is included with every car. Because we arrange insurance on behalf of hundreds of drivers we get a great price that we pass on to our drivers.

Will insurance be in my name?

You will be a named driver on the Upfront policy and will receive an insurance certificate with your name on it. This certificate meets Uber’s strict insurance policy.

What happens if I have an accident?

If the accident isn't your fault, the liable party’s insurance will pay for the damage. To the extent that an accident is your fault, our insurance will cover the liability - you will be responsible for the Excess as per your contract.

Are all of your cars Uber compatible?

Yes. All our cars are PCO licensed and Uber compatible.

What payment method can I use?

We accept all forms of debit card.

Will I pay for servicing or maintenance?

All standard servicing and maintenance is included in your weekly payments. There are no hidden extras - we even include breakdown-cover. If your car needs a service, we’ll even refund you for a day’s rental.

What happens if my car breaks down or can't be driven because of an accident?

In the event of any breakdown or accident, you need to follow the relevant Upfront policy. If you need help, Upfront HQ is open during normal business hours – we’re here to help and will do what we can to keep you on the road.

What if I change my mind, or my circumstances change within the contract period?

No problem. After the first 2 months you can give us 4 weeks’ notice and return your vehicle.
